Behind the name "Ruban Bleu"
Founded in 1992, Ruban Bleu takes its name from the famous award given to the fastest ship on the route between Western Europe and North America.
This blue ribbon was “a symbol of rivalry and political, economic and technical competition between the world’s major powers”.
Far beyond the journey itself, it was a reward for technological progress.
