But let's start by setting the scene: what is Le Coq Vert?
Le Coq Vert is a community of business leaders committed to environmental and energy initiatives. The community was founded in 2020 through a partnership between ADEME and the Ministry for Ecological Transition anTransition and is also part of BPI France’s climate plan.
All members are already actively involved in this transition within their respective companies. Today, the organization has 3,500 members. Behind the name “Le Coq Vert” lies a vibrant community committed to driving change and, in its own way, encouraging the shift toward more eco-friendly and energy-efficient solutions. Members include microbusinesses, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and mid-sized companies, as well as renewable energy producers and solution providers.
Le Coq Vert aims to “accelerate the transition of businesses, support providers of green solutions, and boost financing and investment in the carbon-free energy sector.”
What motivated Ruban Bleu to join?
During the recovery in July 2025, the BPI has been a tremendous support, assisting us with a variety of issues. Through this partnership, we have come to know the Coq Vert community and its commitments.
Ruban Bleu has always demonstrated its commitment to the ecological transition by adopting electric rather than combustion-engine propulsion. Convinced that electric power is an integral part of our future, we embraced this solution from the very beginning, when the company was founded in 1992.
Le Coq Vert is a great initiative that aims to bring together a community of committed entrepreneurs to discuss topics of the future, while also raising the profile of its member companies. We also rely on this community and its influence to continue promoting Ruban Bleu’s expertise.
